Helping one child at a time (Collinsville Herald) Many worried parents have frantically asked doctors why their baby isn't developing properly, only to hear the heartbreaking news that their child has autism. And according to the Centers for Disease Control, the percentage of children born with the disorder is growing.

Car Wash For A Cause (Farmington Press) AmHeart Hospice held their fourth annual car wash Aug. 23 to raise money for the alzheimers Association and the Leadbelt Memory Walk. AmHeart Hospice employees and as well as volunteers hand washed cars to raise $250, all the money goes towards the Leadbelt Memory Walk.
